#Vienna - Al Berbel
This work collects different essays and writings that I have published in magazines, blogs, Instagram posts and Patreon, about issues that were of interest to me or that the readers and subscribers themselves proposed.
As usual, I like to remind whoever has this book in their hands that all the postulates and ideas that I share are born from my philosophical, theoretical and practical conception of this discipline that I love so much, Illusionism. Therefore, I invite all readers to immerse themselves in the pages through the eyes of the author and then compare and contrast with their ideas and their experiences.
The book does not follow a chronological order of the writings, nor thematic, which allows it to be read without following any type of order or reading criteria. However, the content has been classified in such a way that the writing style and formal structure of the essays have a certain coherence and cohesion, so I do recommend that you read it in sections.
When I started collecting material for this book, a couple of years had passed since my good friends Rico Weeland and Manu Manito suggested that I review all the material that I had been publishing and that was being dispersed. The sifting was almost bloody: more than 100 articles and essays of which only 42 are included in these pages (they seem more than enough to me). Perhaps the rest, or just some, will see the light at some other time.
Almost all texts are public. Most of the essays are short writings that have been published on different Instagram accounts and that now reappear corrected and adapted. Some of the essays are expanded and others are unpublished. There are very short essays, and others that are more developed. But they all respond to the same formula: putting a question on the table that makes you think.
Now it is your turn to decide the future of these questions and all these ideas.
